In my dream there was 5 people in it, my girlfriend, her daughter, my girlfriend’s little sister, the shooter and me. I’m not sure if it was a robbery or why the shooter came to make trouble but he did. I can’t remember if there was someone else there now that I think about it but there had to be because other people fled scared from being shot. I ran strate to the shooter to fight the gun away from him and remember thinking, “wouldn’t it be so cliche that I got shot trying to stop him like in the movies” and I know it was a dream but I actually felt a hot burning sensation in my mid section after a gun blast and in my dream I knew I got shot. I stopped the shooter took his gun and emptied the whole magazine in him, mostly out of spite and also to make sure he wouldn’t get up and hurt my family. We walked away and that’s about all I can remember.
Dreams that involve confrontation, especially with a shooter or an aggressor, can be quite intense and often provoke strong emotions. Your dream suggests several layers of meaning related to your personal experiences, emotions, and relationships.
Protective Instincts: The presence of your girlfriend, her daughter, and her sister indicates that you have strong feelings of responsibility and protection towards your loved ones. Your action of confronting the shooter symbolizes a desire to shield them from harm, reflecting your protective instincts in waking life.

Overcoming Conflict: Your thoughts about the cliche of getting shot suggest an awareness of the gravity of the situation and possibly a resistance to becoming a victim. Instead of succumbing to fear, you actively confronted the threat which represents a desire to take control over challenging or dangerous situations in your life.
Emotions of Violence and Justice: The act of taking the gun and shooting the attacker could symbolize your internal struggles with feelings of anger or the desire for justice. It might indicate a need to express or confront repressed emotions or a situation in your life where you feel you need to assert control.
Transformation and Resolution: Walking away after the encounter could symbolize a sense of resolution or transformation following a conflict. It signals that while you might have faced a traumatic or dangerous situation, you managed to come out on the other side, possibly feeling stronger or more in control.
